Encompass executes the “No Hot Cup, Only Cool 7UP” campaign

Summer is back with a vengeance and it’s taking no prisoners. That is if you’re stepping out, stroke is always on the cards.

7UP decided to help the janta beat the heat with the ‘No Hot Cup, Only Cool 7UP’ campaign; an integrated marketing campaign which uses new and interactive technologies to keep their cool over summer. With their eye on young professionals, they introduced the 7UP ‘work break’, a refreshing respite from tight deadlines and burgeoning workloads. The idea was to provide an alternative to the hot drinks traditionally served by the road.

This concept has been amplified through a dedicated TVC, digital media, OOH and retail activation across the three Southern states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala. 7UP TVC alongside the blockbuster movie Bahubali 2 was aired across 2000+ cinemas in the above mentioned three states.

In phase two of the ‘No Hot Cup, Only Cool 7UP’ campaign, 7UP Chill Zones were set up at key hot spots across Chennai and Bangalore to encourage consumers to refresh 7UP way. The super chilled 7UP quenched more than 30,000+ thirsty troopers when they needed it the most.

This was also a chance to showcase 7UP’s all new ‘Equity’ bottle that has recently been launched in Tamil Nadu. This greener, sleeker and taller bottle highlights the rising bubbles and crisp taste of the drink, sure to be a hit with brand loyalists.
